Oh shit. What area do you live in? Are you guys okay?
I hope you, your family and friends are all alright. Actually make that everyone.
I live in Ferndale, a little Victorian town in Northern CA, about 15 miles south of Eureka. When I decided to move from Eureka to Ferndale, I laughed at the people who told me it was on a fault line (after 12 years in LA, I thought “no biggie”), but Jesus. That one scared the shit out of me. First time I’ve been in an earthquake and literally thought that I might die.
Thanks guys. As far as I know, everyone is OK. The kitties and I are still a little freaked out, though.
6.9 earthquake 77km from me. 3rd floor of a 100 year old house. Ruby ran under the covers with me. I don’t think she’ll be coming out for awhile.
We just had a 6.9 earthquake.
Holy. Fucking. Shit.
Things were flying off the shelves.
Biggest one I’ve ever been in.
Endemic to northern Australia, they has been for around 10,000 years.

THIS IS LITERALLY THE RADDEST PHOTO I’VE EVER SEEN
